OUR STORY

Confusion Corner Bar + Grill (now Drinks + Food) was founded in 2001 and opened in 2004 as a meeting place in the iconic and aptly named intersection at Corydon and Pembina, located in the heart of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

It was conceived and built by Lyle Portz as a passion project and to bring a local sports bar to Central Winnipeg.

For the past (almost) 20 years, Confusion Corner has served Winnipeg as a locally owned and operated restaurant.

In the summer of 2019, our team worked together on an extensive renovation to create an elevated local food experience where Winnipeggers can meet for any occasion.

Ultimately, we’ve worked to create a place where people can meet and share memories while enjoying great food and drinks.

This next chapter for Confusion Corner Drinks + Food will feature even more locally sourced ingredients, local beers and cocktails and – as always – a mission to provide the utmost in customer service to those who choose to meet here with friends, family, and colleagues.
